Bird-X TAPE-25 Irri-Tape Bird Repellent RibbonReviewsTried this product to disperse mourning dove's from my roof. They didn't seem to care that it was there. We have bluebirds that see their reflections in the windows of our cars. Then they proceed to "fight" with these reflections and crap all over our cars on a weekly (sometimes daily) schedule. I bought this stuff to try and prevent this from happening, but it has had no effect at all. I am fed up! This product did not help me at all. I bought it as a back up incase the Bird-B-gone Hawk didn't work. You need to have a place to hang this stuff where the sun will hit it at least 12 hrs of the day and the way my front door and stairs sit I am lucky to have sun for 3 hrs of the day. The tape seems to be a reflector of light so maybe I can use it for something else at night to reflect headlights if I ever go walking after dark, LOL. Or maybe at Christmas on the tree to reflect off the Christmas lights? That might be cool! We live in an area with a pigeon problem and this tape has eliminated 99% of the problem. The only time the pigeons land on our balcony now is at night when the tape is not reflecting any light. We just let a few pieces dangle/move around and that seems to have done the trick. This was a great find for us. The birds and squirrels eating the figs on my fig tree are in no way intimidated by these repellent ribbon. It does not work! Don't waste your money. Microplane Professional Medium-Ribbon Two-Way GraterReviewsThis microplane professional is awesome. I purchased this for grating garlic and man was it worth the price. It is so convienent to use and doesn't take up much room. It is also a breeze to clean. If you are looking for a hand grater, I definetly recomend this one. It makes grating so much easier. I am going to purchase one for my dad for Christmas. Like i suggest in the title, please order a larger ribbon size than you think you need. Grading is very fine. Other than that a great product! These Microplane graters are wonderful, and I only recommend the Professional versions. If you use your graters a lot, the plastic edges of the cheaper versions will eventually break, so spend the extra few dollars and get this steel edged Professional version to start with. I just replaced two plastic edged graters myself because they broke within nine months. I originally bought the pre-filter for my Honeywell air cleaner. I had so much left I used it to put behind the A/C itakes to lower the lint and tar since we smoke. It helps a great deal in keeping the house fresh as well as lowering the dust. The Microplane graters come in different series and there are so many kinds of blades, so you may find it hard to choose one that you need. About the size, shape, grip and other overall design of the 38000 series, these graters are very well thought out and executed. They are very convenient to use on a bowl, a pan, and a cutting board. They are also very easy to use on the serving dishes in the last steps of presentation. At the time of this writing, I have used 3 products in 38000 series, plus the slider attachment. I bought different graters so that I can experiment with all sorts of ingredients to make novel garnishes, or something interesting that people wouldn't think of. The manufacturer says this shaver is good for chocolate, soft cheese, and butter, but I was hoping that it would work with vegetables and other things to make pretty flakes. Does it work just as well with other ingredients? Well, sort of. This grater says "ribbon grater" but the actual shape of shaved stuff is not quite "ribbon" with most things I tried: not thick enough and not long enough. But it works with more things than the large shaver, and in this sense I can say this product is more versatile. However, the resulting shape I get from this grater is not as interesting as those I get from large shaver. I don't see as much creative potential in this product as in the large shaver, but it may be just me. It is certainly more interesting than fine zester/grater, since the latter is very predictable in what it does and what you get. I may try more graters in this series if I get some idea of how I can make use of other blades. Average Rating:![]() |

Save time and grate in both directions with this oversized tool which features a two-way blade. Ideal for grating of soft cheese, butter, chocolate, cabbage and apples. This is a professional style tool designed and built to take lots of use in busy commercial kitchens, so it will certainly stand up to daily work in your kitchen. |

Wilton Fondant Ribbon Cutter Embosser SetReviewsI am not impressed with this cutter. While it looks like it would work great, I've found that it's hard to maintain a straight line and that it does not cut cleanly. When I press harder it wobbles. Black RibbonsReviewsThe epitome of concept albums is "The Wall" by Pink Floyd. Shooter Jennings, Stephen King and Hierophant update that standard with "Black Ribbons," a creepy combination of music and the spoken word which is as much an homage to Floyd, Led Zepplin and Marilyn Manson as it is an opinion about current events with government authority run amok. This compact disc sees the anti-New World Order opinions of popular musicians like Muse, and ups the ante. "Another Brick In the Wall" has grown up and become "Wake Up!" this is one of the best cd's ever!!! it's nice to have a liberal point of view from a country singer these days... f*** you, i am famous and wake up, are my favorite songs, stephen king makes a good dj, telling his story... if like like good rock music, buy this cd!!! shooter proves that blurring the line between country and rock is exactly what johnny cash and his daddy waylon would have done... they would be so proud!! To start off, I'm a huge Shooter fan and own all of his albums (except the greatest hits collection), all of the duet tracks he's done with other artists, and plenty of bootlegs, so yes, I'm biased. I thought his first two albums were excellent if a bit uneven. His third, "The Wolf" never quite did it for me. When I heard his latest album wasn't going to be country and I started hearing more of the details, I'll admit that it sounded like he was straying even farther from my tastes, but I was intrigued nonetheless and decided to go in with an open mind. This definitely is not a country album. Many are saying, depending on the song, that the influences seem to be mostly Pink Floyd and NIN, neither of which am I familiar enough with to comment on. All I know is that this is one heck of a concept album, and unlike anything I've heard before. Stephen King is cast as the voice of truth on the radio as the political world as we know it comes to an end, and I feel this framework ties the album together really well. The inclusion of a couple of the songs may be a little bit of a stretch for the theme, but I still think it works. The songs range from heavy rock to nearly acoustic (all of them have electronics of one kind or another thrown in). Favorites for me so far are "Don't Feed the Animals", "When the Radio Goes Dead", and the title track, but this album truly seems meant to be listened to as a whole, not as singles or individual downloads. If you're at all curious, I absolutely recommend this album, just don't show up looking for the country - you're not going to find it. If you buy the hard copy (and you should), you'll find some of the most impressive and elaborate packaging I've ever seen (Clutch's "Strange Cousins" gives it a run for its money, though). Also check out Shooter's website for an addictive tie-in video game he supposedly created himself. Dedication and talent like this should be rewarded. This isn't just another album - it's an experience. ***Side Note: Makes an excellent soundtrack while playing Fallout 3 if you want to get extra nerdy and apocalyptic!*** I was really not expecting this to be very good. I absolutely love Shooter's other albums, but I've been pretty skeptical of this one since I heard about him forming a new band and abandoning his southern rock and country sound. After the long wait for this cd to be released, I was relieved to realize that Hierophant is actually the fictional name of the band in the album's story line. It should come as no surprise to any listener of Shooter's Electric Rodeo show on Sirius that he has a very eclectic musical interest, and this is just an example of him trying something new. Luckily for us, it is amazing! I've probably played this thing a dozen times since I got it, and every time is as good as the first. (Although Stephen King's interludes are good, they don't hold up nearly as well to repeated listening.) Boy was this a shocker. I had a totally different idea of what this was going to sound like; a country version of of "Radio KAOS" with Stephen King substituting for Jim Ladd. Very pleasantly happy to be found wrong. These guys take the same concept in a completely different direction. I'm a big fan of these kind of concept CDs when they are done right, and this one is. The music can't be categorized; Shooter goes in all different directions. Something for everyone here. Excellent guitar and song-writing and Stephen King holds the story together between every 3-4 tracks. This is the kind of CD I wish I could hear for the 1st time on every listen. Cry the Beloved Country (1951) [VHS]ReviewsAdapted from the novel by Alan Paton, this 1951 film is set in South Africa and is a sad commentary about apartheid. It stars Canada Lee as a native aging Christian priest, who travels to Johannesburg in search of his sister and his son. He finds that his sister is a prostitute and his son is missing. After a long search with the help of his fellow priest, played by Sidney Poitier, they discover that his son is involved in a murder of a white man. Charles Carson plays the father of the murdered man, a bigot who changes his views as he reads some of his own son's writings about the inhumanity of apartheid. There is a major scene when he and murderer's father, both grieving, come face to face. Sidney Poitier is listed as a star but his role was actually quite small. He became star years later but his name on a video box does bring instant recognition. The theme is a good one and so is the story and the acting is superb.I did enjoy it but found it a bit slow and hard to follow. Perhaps it was the editing or just the way the film was transferred to video but it distracted from the high drama. It is worthwhile seeing, of course, and it was done well, but it just didn't grab me enough to give it my highest recommendation. The subjects covered in this movie are still of great concern in today's world. It is well worth seeing. Makes one much more compassionate--makes one want to do somthing about African and world problems. This movie tells the parallel stories of an old black priest and a old white farmer who leave their rural communities to travel to Johannesburg and the tragedies that draw them there. While the story is a moving portrait of that troubled time and place, it is still chillingly current. An encounter between the two men when they discover the extent to which their lives (and the lives of their sons) are related could as easily be about two men meeting in Colorado today. I wonder if today's fathers would do as well. Average Rating:![]() |

She Wore a Yellow Ribbon [VHS]ReviewsIf westerns are your preference, you will not want to miss this famous fim, one of 3 made by John Ford at his height and celebrating the United States Cavalry. If they are not, you may find this a very tedious film. The merits are: - John Wayne at his very best, playing a high ranking commander on the brink of retirement and superbly conveying a man at the end of his career. - beautiful colour photography of Ford's favourite location, Monument Valley - a rousing score However, there are some drawbacks: - a subplot, a romantic triangle, played poorly by John Agar and Joanne Dru who is particularly superficial. - the usual Ford cliches encompassing tiresome Irish humour from Victor McLaglen and sentiment such as the cliched burial scene (Ford repeats himself). - a dreary screenplay with too much talk and not enough action for much too long. The print is superb and there are some extras such as cast lists and awards but they are cursory. There is also some home movies of Wayne and Ford's trip to Mexico. It's a John Wayne Old Movie So of course it's wonderful. Love these old movies I have always enjoyed John Wayne Movies and this one is one of my favorites. I am glad that Amazon has given me a chance to own this movie. What is a western movie? You need actions and fast pace. You do not get any from this movie. There is not much plot. The pace is very slow. The old man is near retiring and it is very boring. The girl theme (Olivia Dandridge) is not entertaining. There is not much to say, just not a fan of it at all. Really boring. It is no comparison to High Noon, Hombre, Man of the West. For Indian Western, Broken Arrow is much better. Even the Searchers is better than this. John Wayne is really old in this movie. In interviews, Patrick Wayne has stated that "The Duke" thought of this as his best Western, if not his best film. His catchphrase in this one has been further immortalized on TV by "Jethro Gibbs" (Mark Harmon) on NCIS. "Don't apologize, it's a sign of weakness." It's a guy flick, but some ladies may like it as there is a bit of romance. My lovely wife would rather do needlepoint than watch Westerns, so we won't share her thoughts here. All in all, the Wide-screen transfer was fantastically done, the panoramas shot in Monument Valley are some of John Ford's best stuff cinematically. Would have really suffered if it had been done in black and white. The color is exceptional. Another early John Wayne & John Ford collaboration in color I HIGHLY recommend is "The Quiet Man" (I'm Irish and watch it each March 17th with some Old Bushmill's on hand.) Buy it and ENJOY! Genie Garage Door Opener Replacement Keypad and Ribbon for KEP-1ReviewsThis was the second replacement keypad I've had to purchase for my Genie KEP-1. The flaw in them is in the ribbon cable which connects the keypad to the control module. For something that was meant to be mounted outdoors, the cable is susceptable to water damage. I think a more weatherproof connection should be designed for this appliance. I will give Amazon high marks for having this item in their inventory because if you have a KEP-1 you're going to need a replacement keypad at sometime. Our old one (that looked identical) must have gotten moisture under the keypad and stopped working. We live in the fog. Everything else worked fine. After reading other reviews we calked around this keypad between the black plastic and gray plastic face, and again around the outside edge of the unit. It has been perfect. The keypad on my garage door opener (Genie KEP-1) had stopped working. I have an older home, and the available replacement radio systems are not compatible with my existing system. The Genie site no longer stocks this product, and I was contemplating replacing the entire opener system at a cost of several hundred dollars. I searched the Amazon vendors on the off chance that replacement parts may still be available and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were. The order arrived in a few days, installation was a snap, and my garage door keypad and outdoor opener works perfectly at a fraction of the cost that I had anticipated. Very good product. Have been using this keypad for many years. What i like most is you don't need batteries. They last about 3 - 4 years. I found the receipt for the first one... it lasted 7 years. I guess I can spend twenty bucks for a new one every 7 years. Super easy replacement and no batteries to change. Average Rating:![]() |

The White RibbonReviewsMichael Haneke is arguably one of the finest directors in the world today. His works, like "Seven Continents," "A House At the Lake," and "The Piano Teacher" are quite troubling in may ways and in these works he often keenly captured the downside of the Postmodern Aesthetic, where often the world seems upside down. This work is different; rather than a post modern turn Haneke's work has an almost premodern, very austere, sensibility with it's portrayal of a nearly feudalistic German farming town the edge of of WWI. As is in his other works, particularly "A House on The Lake." there is an increasing sense that something is not quite right in this bucolic setting. The town's wealthier people (a Baron, a Minister, a Doctor, and a landowning farmer)all have a profound sense of entitlement, fatalism and are generally not nice people. The farmers,a modern version of medieval serfs, seem slightly more light hearted, but there is an increasing sense of dis-ease surrounding them. The only decent major character is the local school teacher, who also acts as the omniscient narrator looking back from the future (the narrator, the moral weaknesses and the black and white photography reminded me a bit of American film noir). Also the narrator who was 31 in the picture and sounds at least in his mid sixties (a time of the great war(s) and unprecedented bloodshed in the not too distant future). Besides the teacher and, to a lesser degree the baron's wife, the only really decent and caring people are from elsewhere (e. g.; Eva the teacher's shy but direct love interest, and the Italian woman who is brought back from Italy bu the Baroness to take care of her emotionally scarred children- however the investigative police brought in to solve the mysteries had a mean, almost gestapo like approach to "law and order." The plot is marked by a series of heinous crimes and mishaps, which symbolize both the the town's hypocrisy and the looming danger of "The Great War(s)" ahead. There is definitely a lot of familial viscountess here: the doctor's incestuous relations of his daughter and sadistic treatment of his midwife, the mean spirited actions of the Baron towards his employees, his workers and his family, the punitive treatment of the somewhat hypocritical minister towards his children: for example his tying his young adolescent sons hands during the night to prevent any nervous degeneration through masturbation, which for Victorian age Europeans was often thought as the cause of many major maladies; as well as the white ribbons he forces his children to wear, like a scarlet letter, for their very minor moral transgressions. Finally I assert this movie is an allegory of the beginning of the Germanic quest for domination (and a microcosm of the then German national identity that carried out the "final solution) , which portends to atrocities, death, and destruction yet to afflict all Germans- including those in remote hamlets like this movie takes place. The children who face varying levels of blind brutality in 1913-1914 in this bucolic setting could very well play a major role in the Nazi induced horrors 25+ years later. And the sadism they are exposed too in their tiny town they could well have led too such sadism inflicted on the world by the German people. Although shot in a small setting, this is a big, and extremely though provoking, movie, and is definitely worth looking at twice due to the subtle nuances and the underlying thematic elements. As usual Haeneke, a little like Lars Von Trier (e. g.; his movie "Europa"),provides a disturbing message about the past, the present and the future. Yuk! The only thing to "get" about this long movie is that it is awful. sigh, like most things i write about on here i dont expect most of you to relate with me here. maybe i just dont have a taste for true foreign film, but i did not enjoy this movie and it had nothing to do with the fact that it was not fast paced, or that it was in black and white. i actually really enjoyed the look that the black and white film brought. it promised a lot to me i think that never felt satisfied. i did not find the mystery of the town too curious or mind boggling and the things i did see that were obvious to understand i did not feel better off knowing about it. i did not enjoy the character of the doctor who had some very disturbing demons haunting him it seemed. all i can do is share what i was able to take away from the film. the cinematography was vibrant and alive. the town was eerie but more in a sad neglected way, not really in a mysterious caper sort of way. i did not feel attached to any character as i kept having a feeling that somewhere along the story a disturbing trait of some kind was going to reveal itself about each of them. i dont need happy endings, or feel good characters, but this film leaves something to be desired. i appreciate the artistic vision, as i did in amelie (wasnt a fan of amelie either..) but the movie did feel pointless to me. if anyone knows a movie about german people that is not about war or crazy towns people id like to know. So, I decided to see this movie after watching its review on At the Movies. What struck me was A.O. Scott's sour reaction to Haneke's films, for what he described was Haneke's tacit statement that European liberalism stems from a guilt over the Holocaust, the World Wars etc. I don't know if I'm missing something, but I didn't pick up on that at all - in either this movie or his previous one, Cache. I left the movie with more questions than anything. What is Haneke trying to say about the roots of German fascism? Is he trying to say anything at all? The only thing I took away from the movie was an eerie appreciation of the repressed sadism and evil percolating in this small town. Those kids are really creepy, and that physician is devoid of humanity. May be someone with a better understanding of existentialist or nihilist thought would more appreciate this film than me. Nonetheless it cultivates a spookiness, a malaise I haven't experienced in a film for a long time. Overall, it's worth seeing but jeewiz it felt really long. I think it was back in November when I first saw a trailer for the Michael Haneke film Das Weisse Band (The White Ribbon). Initially the film appeared uninteresting but when I saw a trailer for it again in December I really paid attention to it and I thought to myself as soon as it opens up in Minneapolis, I will go see the film. I recently went to see The White Ribbon this month and I found myself constantly thinking about it after I left the theater. The time period of the film takes place just a year before World War I in a small German village. The village is plagued by a series of strange events that leads to human suffering. First the village's doctor is seriously injured when his horse trips over a thin wire. The doctor has to spend a lengthy time in the hospital. Another strange incident involves the baron's son who goes missing and is later found bound and tortured. A similar incident involving the midwife's mentally handicapped son occurs. Also a suicide, a barn burns down, and a young boy is restrained to his bed for admitting he self pleasuring himself happens through out the film. A lot of these strange events (not all though) somehow involves some of the children in the village led by the pastor's eldest daughter Klara. What makes this film so compelling and engaging is that the filmmaker does make this film a who done it? type of mystery but rather focus on human nature and just the levels of cruelty that some people (young and old) are willing to go. The one thing about the film that I didn't particularly care for was the narration. I could have easily done without that but I suppose if the film did not have the teacher's narration (when he is older) it would have left a void in the film. At times the film prodded a little too slowly but overall I enjoyed the film immensely. Average Rating:![]() |

John Wayne-John Ford Film Collection 2009 (The Searchers Two-Disc Special Edition / Fort Apache / She Wore a Yellow Ribbon / They Were Expendable / 3 Godfathers / The Wings of Eagles / Directed by John Ford)Reviews... and it looks like some features in the original John Ford - John Wayne collection are missing. Here's the press release for this new set: JOHN WAYNE-JOHN FORD FILM COLLECTION Collection Includes: THE SEARCHERS TWO-DISC SPECIAL EDITION - Wayne's favorite role. And, many say, Ford's best film. THE WINGS OF EAGLES - A compassionate biopic salute: aviation pioneer "Spig" Wead (Wayne) overcomes tragedy to forge a Hollywood career. Maureen O'Hara co-stars. FORT APACHE - They're duty bound to obey. But Wayne and other cavalrymen are at odds with the orders of ramrod commander Henry Fonda. Shirley Temple co-stars. 3 GODFATHERS - The tale of the Magi - Western style. Fugitive bank robbers won't abandon the infant entrusted to them, even though caring for him dims their chances of escape. SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON - Another Ford masterpiece of mood and heroics. An aging officer (Wayne) who knows the agony of war seeks to make his last mission one of peace. Won Academy Award of 1949 for Best Color Cinematography. THEY WERE EXPENDABLE - Wayne and Robert Montgomery are PT-boat skippers in "one of the finest (and most underrated) of all World War II films" (Leonard Maltin's Movie Guide). Bonus Documentary Disc - First Time on DVD: DIRECTED BY JOHN FORD - Peter Bogdanovich's groundbreaking tribute to the filmmaker, restored and reedited to include more classic clips and insightful anecdotes from Clint Eastwood, Katharine Hepburn, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and more contemporary cinema giants. If this description is complete then "Stagecoach" and "The Long Voyage Home" are missing from this release of this boxed set versus the first release. What has been added is the documentary on John Ford. That 110 minute documentary is available separately here - Directed by John Ford. My suggestion, and what I intend to do, is to buy the documentary separately. Wayne became a star based on his performance in Stagecoach in 1939, after first gaining some short-lived attention when he appeared in 1930's "The Big Trail". The original boxed set is still available without the documentary and with the missing two movies of this package. I would still recommend that set over this one as long as the original set is available. Stagecoach is essential for any John Wayne fan and I can't see owning this collection if it is not part of it. Here we go again. Why does Warner Bros. keep re-releasing these westerns. Why not release westerns that have never been on dvd, such as YELLOWSTONE KELLY, WESTBOUND, GOLD OF THE SEVEN SAINTS ETC. Reach DentoTAPE Waxed Ribbon Dental Floss, 100-Yard Dispensers (Pack of 4)ReviewsThis is not flat Ribbon Floss. It is common Reach Dentotape which is just really big tooth floss. I was expecting Ribbon Floss, and just wasted my money. Don't be fooled. Reach does not call this Ribbon Floss. I bought this product on Amazon as a pack of 4. Amazon found this hard to find product at the best price! Thank you, again! I have not recieved my dental tape yet and it has been 3 or 4 weeks since I ordered my tape! I am really quite upset about this! I don't like paying for something and then NOT GETTING IT! I used to try to save a little money by buying store-brand dental tape. But the generic stuff has steadily declined in quality at all the major drugstore chains in New York City. This brand, on the other hand, remains effective and easy to use. But it is hard to find at the drug store, so I've been ordering it online. This is the ONLY floss I can use on my teeth without shredding, breaking, or getting fibers stuck in between. I have very tight spaces, especially around the back molars, and this stuff works. Everything else, even Glide or good imitations of this product, can't do the job. I'll always use it! Casio Black Ribbons for All CW Disc Title Printers, 3 Pack (TR-18BK-3P)Reviewsbought the printer at Office Max who then promplty stoped selling it or the ribbons. Found these and they are working perfect. This cartridge is no longer available in the stores you have to purchase it on line. Amazon has the best price. It was delivered in a timely matter. No problem with it. This is exactly what i needed and it came in a timely manner and cost less. You cant use a Casio Disc Title Printer without these thermal gems. Each allows you about 40 titles, depending on size. This was a great idea...no more using Sharpies on discs. Good buy. Works great with my Casio CW 100 Title Printer, just like it is supposed to do. Canon BCI-3eBK Black Ink Cartridge (4479A003)ReviewsWhat a deal I got on this new, in the box, Canon ink cartridge! Fantastic. I will always look on Amazon before I look anywhere else! Don't bother with any other ink for your Canon printer. I tried cheaper ink and it was a waste of money and time. Simple documents didn't even printe right and pictures basically were a waste so I was then out on the ink and photo paper. Never again, this is great ink and works as it should. Don't settle for less. The picture and description show that this an actual Canon ink cartridge, but what I received was a knock-off brand made in China in a yellow and blue box! Buyer beware... This product was purchased through Amazon from Eforcity. It was advertised as Canon. The picture of the product was a canon box picture, BUT IT WAS NOT CANON. It was aftermarket! I did not get canon, I got conned! First off, this product is excellent. This review is to warn potential purchasers that Eforcity (3rd party vendor) purports to sell "genuine" Canon BCI-3e BK cartridges but substitutes Chinese compatibles of lesser quality. When I challenged Eforcity, they said I would have to return the bogus ink tanks to obtain a refund. Without even being asked, Amazon stepped in and processed a refund. Avoid this vendor if you need genuine Canon ink, which is strongly recommended to avoid "messy" problems with your printer. Average Rating:![]() |

Okidata Black Nylon Ribbon for Microline 320/321 Printers (5/6" x 2 Yards)ReviewsExcellent quality. I've bought the "generic" ribbbons before and was not satisfied. This product has excellent print quality. Recommended. I have ordered the generic ribbons before. They fell short in length of use. Am back to the real deal, they are cost effective I like to buy the manufacturers ribbons when available due to poor luck with "clone" ribbons. Smart shopping brought the price down close to the cheapies and the quality of print and longevity of service are great. What can I say, it is printer ink, and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Having gotten the same advise from 3 printer repair techs and also having seen the results of premature head wear, we ONLY use Genuine Okidata Ribbons. They last longer than the cheap copies and, according to the techs, they lubricate the pins and shafts in the head. Average Rating:![]() |

Brother 1230 Correction Ribbon for Daisy Wheel Typewriter (2 Pack)ReviewsLame company. I purchased the 2 pack of Brother 1230 Correction Ribbons for my son's typewriter back in November 2009 and when I went to get another 2 pack in March 2010, the company wouldn't allow me to purchase additional ribbons claiming I got my one and only 2 pack that I could ever purchase. Maddening! Typewriter Ribbon: Bought this for a friend. Messed up and double ordered and had to send one back. Is there something wrong with Amazon's check out procedure? Or am I stupid? Product = OK Average Rating:![]() |
